We Are the Deaf Heart
As members of the deaf community, we are a vibrant and diverse group bound together by shared experiences, language, and culture. Deaf individuals navigate the world through visual communication, utilizing sign language as their primary mode of expression. Our community encompasses a wide spectrum of individuals, including those born deaf, late-deafened individuals, and those who identify with Deaf culture regardless of their hearing status.

Central to our identity is a strong sense of pride in our language, American Sign Language (ASL), and our collective history of resilience and advocacy.
